Player Code of Conduct

- Respect officials, coaches, fans and players.  Disrespectful words or actions towards any of the aforementioned will result in loss of playing time, suspension or dismissal from the team. 

- Respect the field and facility.  
     - All dugout trash will be cleaned up before the team is dismissed.
     - Do not make piles with or dig into the dirt while out on the field.  This creates unsafe playing conditions
     - We are guest on the groundskeepers’ fields, both at home and away games. 

- There will be ZERO tolerance for the following outburst: 
     - Cursing
     - Excessive Crying.  Tears are understandable at times.  Please talk through any issues with your coach(es)
     - Throwing of helmets, bats, gloves or other equipment
     - Showing frustration on the playing field
     - Blaming others for miscues
     - “Showing up” a teammate, coach or opponent
           - This includes bat flips, excessive celebration, trash talk, etc.
     - Questioning a coaching decision in front of the team or parents

- Players are responsible for proper upkeep of their uniform.  This includes:
     - Uniforms are washed and clean before games
     - Helmets, hats, team gear will be maintained with care

- Never leave the dugout during a game  
     - No talks with parents, or other family members
     - Restroom breaks should be taken prior to start of game
     - If you need something, ask your coach(es)
